Dr. Venkat Yeruva graduated from veterinary school in 1996 and practiced veterinary medicine in a mixed animal practice until 2004. In 2006 he moved to the USA and completed his board exam (North American Veterinary Licensing exam) through the AVMA. His clinical training was completed at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Missouri in 2007. After that he began working as a veterinarian in a small animal practice in Ohio. Dr. Yeruva moved to Tampa, Florida in 2008. Since then he has worked at non-profit and private practices in the Tampa area. His special interest is in internal medicine, general and emergency surgery, acupuncture, and holistic medicine.
Dr. Yeruva married since 1996, lives with wife and two kids (one 2 legged and one four legged).
Jacqueline has been in the vet field since 2013. She has worked her way from a Kennel Technician to a Vet Assistant and is currently studying for her certification as a Veterinary Technician. Jacqueline loves all animals and has been taking care of them since childhood. She is particularly drawn to special or perplexing cases and enjoys learning at every opportunity. Jacqueline is a proud mother to her fur-babies Sampson and Persephone.
Katina has always loved animals, ever since she was young. She has worked with all types of animals big and small. She is currently going to school to become a certified veterinary technician. She has two dogs, Peanut and Chico, a dwarf hamster named Stuart Little, a Crested Gecko named Zeus, and a tortoise named Bubba.
Paola graduated in 2003 from the Veterinary School at Pedro Ruiz Gallo University in Lambayeque, Peru. Paola worked as a Veterinarian in ‘small animal’ clinics from 2004 to 2009 and helped rescue groups by performing Spay & Neuter surgeries for pets that came from low income homes in Peru. She moved to the United States in May, 2009 and worked in pet retail in Paterson, New Jersey as a manager until 2016. She then moved to Brandon, Florida in 2017.
Paola has been around animals since she was young. Her parents even had a chicken farm in Peru. During her life, she has had different kinds of pets including; parrots, parakeets, rabbits, dogs, cats, lizards, spiders and a bat until Paola had her daughter. Now Paola only has a fish tank and a dog named Lucy, whom she adopted from Pure Hearts Rescue.
Aria has always been very passionate working with animals ever since she was little. She’s been in the vet field since 2016, and is continuing her education to become a certified veterinary technician. She currently helps foster Cole , a 2 year old Pit Bull mix, from Pure Hearts Rescue, and also has a cat named Diamond. Aria has been with the North Tampa Pet Hospital team since March of 2017.
Cherish is an experienced groomer with over 10 years of experience. She is very passionate about taking extreme care of all her pets in the salon and making them look fabulous! Cherish has two pets of her own at home, Vee and Diva. When she is not at work, she is with her kids and pups.
